Renaissance Park

January 26, 2021 Michael Diego

Visit Renaissance Park in Old Fourth Ward.

Renaissance Park underwent a transformation in 2013 to become Atlanta’s first downtown park to allow dogs off-leash. The park is 5.4 acres and located on the west side of Old Fourth Ward.

Renaissance Park is full of history as the land was originally part of a “slum” known as Buttermilk Bottom, which was destroyed back in the 1960s. Today, the park is a great place for friends, families, and their dogs to come enjoy a sunny day.
