Margaret Mitchell wrote the famous Pulitzer Prize-winning book, Gone With The Wind. The Margaret Mitchell House, dubbed by her friends as “The Dump”, is a turn-of-the-century Tudor Revival mansion that has been placed on the National Register of Historic Places and converted into a museum for all to come to visit.
