About the Atlanta Cyclorama & Civil War Museum
The Cyclorama was relocated in 2017 to the Atlanta History Center in Buckhead after Lloyd and Mary Ann Whitaker donated. On the tour, guests watch a short clip of the Battle of Atlanta. They also get to learn about the city’s role in the Civil War.
The Cyclorama Building is ideal for school kids, as well as history lovers and enthusiasts.
To enjoy your time, you need about an hour and a half. Guests are advised to come in early as it can get crowded, especially during weekdays.
Interesting facts: There are only three Cyclorama left in the U.S, with the largest being here in Atlanta. The staff is informative and engaging. At the end of the tour, visitors can ask questions with regards to the Cyclorama.
